It's been a while since I posted......but I have not abandoned rangefinders. In fact I been practicing with my Canon 7 and have improved greatly.

Congratulations on your purchase, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Think about getting it CLA'd, its worth it if it hasn't been done in a long time. Collecting the lenses is fun too. My IIC (big C) has a Rodenstock Heligon lens so I had a real challege finding all three, but now have a complete set including the 50 mm f2.8, 80 mm f/4, 35 mm f/5.6, and just today got the 35mm f/4 in the mail, from an eBay auction. All Rodenstock Heligon. The 35mm f/4 is calibrated in meters, the others in ft.

Congrats - the Xenon lens is apparently quite superb (I have a IIa with Heligon, and I love it), and that was a great price.
