I have always wondered why no one has marketed an 18% gray bag.

I have discovered a really nice camera bag and thought I would mention it. It's the National Geographic line. I think I have the small bag, but it could be medium. There doesn't seem to be a model number on it. It's made of really nice old-fashioned, soft duck cloth in a beautiful and unobtrusive green-greyish color - I actually would call it natural canvas, as it resembles the old-fashioned canvas bags very much. It seems to be the perfect size for 1 rangefinder body with lens and 3-4 additional lenses. It also has (for me) ideally sized front pockets for misc gear like batteries, film, filters etc. It's very light and carries very comfortably. Since I got it, it's the only RF bag I carry, and I have about 6-8 around here somewhere. Also it was a bargain at B&H - around $40 if memory serves correctly.

Yea, Grey, that's so smart! What would happen if I bleached my black Domke 803? Would it be a good Grey? Anyone tried it?

Nice read. Thanks Josh. I too am one for using a bag that doesn't look like a camera bag, especially for my RF kit.
While in Berlin during the holidays, my wife and I found this company that makes very cool bags for lots of uses. Very design oriented. Besides the cool bags, they have a photo insert which is perfect for 1-2 RF bodies, 2-3 lenses, and some other assorted kit.
See: http://www.tausche-berlin.de/index.html (I'm not affiliated, just a fan)
I'm using the "Schutzbefohlene" along with the "Fotograf" inset.
I love it. Will try to post a few shots with my kit in it.
