I would doubt that Canon has any interest in trying this market. They concentrate on what sells in large volume, and that is hardly the case with the expensive RF digitals. In any case, it would seem to indicate another type of lens mount. What noone needs is another Canon mount :bang:

With its acquisition of KM, I am hoping that Sony will adapt the Hexar RF or AF to make a DRF, possibly with the D200 sensor and AS.

I don't know exactly what kind of relationship Sony has with Zeiss, with them marketing Zeiss branded lenses on their Alpha. A digital ZI would be nice too.

But for canon to start from scratch, I think that would be less of a possibility.
