New RFF Under Construction - take a look

Speaking of new bugs, an old one has returned which is I have to log in twice before it actually accepts it. Something else is when I'm looking at the list of New Topics under the Forums block, when selecting the Next Page, the list then becomes resident on the Home Page. What the heck is that all about?

PF

Something else odd, why does this Forum not have a Next Page button, and the pages go from 1 to 5, skipping over pages 2, 3, and 4?

I think that 'ERROR BOX' comes up
when the system is not up to speed and One re clicks or tries to navigate somewhere else
Things slow down , freeze, error box displays

Hello Stephen,

I'm a long-time member of rangefinderforum.com, but wasn't able to reset my password for the new site. It said my email wasn't recognized. I tried my two email accounts, neither one worked. So, I created a "new" fraley account, which was probably a mistake. Now I can log in but have no history, no messages, no photos, etc. Is there any way you can merge or restore my original "fraley" account please?

Thanks,
Michael

I saw some messages and profile information briefly, but it's gone again...

I was uploading my photos to the gallery and then link to the topics, now photos from the old site are here but links don't work, is there a way to fix that? All my posts with photos are empty now.

i think about two days there are about something 20k guest users online shown by the site, is this ok or a malfunction?

one last thing, is it possible to add a color theme with the old sites dark theme and with the same fonts, that would be lovely

Taking some getting used to but the one thing I'm missing most of all is the quick jump page buttons at the bottom of each thread in the main feed. If I'm clicking on a thread that I've followed for a long time, let's say "35mm Summicron Photos", I like to click on the "last page" button on the bottom, instead of clicking on the thread, and then scrolling to the bottom of that page, then clicking "last page". I'd prefer the option to jump to the latest entries right from the main forum page if that makes sense...

Hopefully I'm no the only one. And I know there is some bad press/unfavorable opinions on the new RFF, but it's exciting to see a revamp of an already great community and even better to see the suggestions and preferences being noted and addressed when possible. Thanks for all the hard work!
