It could be my imagination, but compared to the gxr, the gr updates are coming more frequently... Could it be Fuji influence has rubbed off on them?

Thanks from me too. Do you understand this ambient light feature? Something about a setting that make the ambient light quantities (qualities?) similar to those of a GR film camera. I'm not sure what that means.

In my (very) brief testing this morning, it seems to put more of an S-curve into photos, at least from what I could see in B&W JPEG. I'll test it out more later today.

One thing I really missed that came in 3.0 is the ability to use half press on the shutter button to confirm configuration changes in the menus. I found it very strange that I couldn't do that before.
