I have seen some scams before but this one is new. I have a Imacon 343 for same and posted it on a couple of forums. I received an email from a supposed UK person named Allison with an email address name of Janeveski Zivko at janeveski77@yahoo.co.uk She wanted to purchase the imacon but when asking questions I found that she didn't even know what it was. She stated she was looking for a camera to take on a charitable trip to africa. Still she wanted to purchase it with a money order and then asked that I cash a $2500 money order to help finance the trip. My response was that I might have been born at night but it wasn't last night and that I could smell a scam here.

Look out for this one!

This scam has been around for a while here. A friend of mine encountered it when selling purebred puppies, cash a money order for more than the purchase price and send the cash with the pup. Right. My friend saud Okay, but you will wait until the money order clears the bank, about two weeks. It never showed up. Scammers have been using counterfeit money orders and Cashier's checks. My credit Union now holds all inetrnational money orders until they clear as things were so bad.
