It's called dp1m and dp2m with a 19 f2.8 and 30 f2.8 lens.
I wonder if it's as dead slow as the old dp series cameras.
The camera and lens design will be new and hopefully better, it will have a focusring on the lens.

The 45mm equivalent dp2m lens seems promising, but i hope for a snappy af. The slow af was the reason to sell my dp2.

slower means smaller here, and this is a good thing.
f2.8 is not slow. it is not fast either, but slow? No.

I use a DP2s and DP1s - They certainly are 'special' cameras and can be awkward to use - but I love the images I get from the Foveon sensor. For landscapes the DP1 is really nice. Also, if you know someone who can open it up, it makes a very nice dedicated IR camera... It would be nice if they could build in an IR mode on the new ones...

I'd certainly be up for having more pixels though, as things get pixelated pretty quick when you start making sizeable prints... 15MP should print much more nicely thank you sir!

These are cameras with so much potential and yet they wallow in their own uniqueness. Dear Sigma: viewfinder and quick handling.

Maybe not slow for outdoors, but f2.8 is against the limit indoors and in available light. For each their own, but I could not consider this camera with an f2.8 lens, and am sure I am not the only one. I really wish sigma had been a bit harder on their engineering dept..

I miss my DP1s terribly. The photos I took with that camera are very sharp. For me the only digital camera which gives film like BW images...

I wish they design interchangeable lens bodies...or a full frame ;)
