Looks like the GRD has some competition. Hopefully price/ quality and distribition are up to acceptable standards. I was about to buy a Fuji F30, but now I'm gonna wait and see because of the Sigma's 28 vs. the Fuji's 35.
But I remember Ken Rockwell said SIGMA stood for "SIgnificant MAlfunction"--not kind words.

I tried this camera, and it's an okay camera, but I'm thinking of selling it. The highly touted low-light capability is not low-light enough. I'd like the camera a lot better had they put a fast fixed focal length lens on it...an f2 or faster, instead of the zoom. I was gonna sell it on ebay, but perhaps I should put it up for sale here first. For a compact digital, the Casio Exilim S3 is still my favorite camera.

Vodid:
My interest in the F30 was for an outdoor "stealth" steetshooter and indoor/ low light camera.
