If you love street photography as much as I do, right now is a golden moment in street photography book publishing. There are two blockbuster exhibitions opening now, the William Klein/Daido Moriyama show at the Tate Museum in London, and the Garry Winogrand show at SFMOMA. As a result, three great looking retrospective books are now being released:
"Garry Winogrand" published by San Francisco Museum of Modern Art,
"William Klein: ABC" published by Abrams, and
"Daido Moriyama" published by Tate Publishing
Until now its been impossible to find books showing a comprehensive span of any of these photographers' work. And its been WAY too expensive to try to collect the myriad of books about each photographer that would span their complete works. Now it appears we can do so. All three books can be purchased now through Amazon for a bit more than $100 total!
The Winogrand and Klein books are hardbound; the Moriyama is paperback.
