New Summarit Lens question

I have a question that someone with one of the new Summarit lenses may be able to answer.

I recently purchased a Summarit 50 2.5. The aperture adjusting ring seems not to engage the d tents as precisely as other Leica lenses I have.

I called Leica New Jersey and explained that the adjusting ring seems to "glide" rather smoothly over the range of adjusting positions. It does engage but does not seem as deeply set.

Leica service clained that this was normal for the new Summarit lenses.

Have any other new Summarit owners experienced this.

My 50, 75, and 35 summarits all have aperture rings that have "indents". They do not glide smoothly. Is there a Leica dealer nearby? If so, take the lens to them and ask for a comparison with another boxed sample.
