Interesting project. As to the infinity lock, my 1967 Summaron f2.8 has it - and I rather like it.

Seems archaic but it does give you something to grip when mounting/unmounting lenses.

Agree! The infinity lock definitely helped me a lot when I mount/unmount the lens. I love the original design.

Regarding the infinity lock, it was the original design. I believe all his lenses will have the infinity lock. Sorry.

i like the mute color render
kind of similar the color from my Summaron 35/2.8 and Rigid 50/2
