My black lens has number 194/500 (I think)
Cost is $499 for the lens, plus a deposit of $100 to cover DHL shipping and any paypal fees. Kevin will return to you whatever is left then.

I have filed the purchase form 10min after receiving it in november. Two friends of mine filed on the same day and they already got the lens...
I took my friend’s one in hands, it’s a very very beautiful lens... Can’t wait to get mine !

My lens was shipped from Shanghai by Kevin personally, after he inspected and tested it. I got the impression he is handling all communications as well as all payments, packing and shipping for ALL overseas buyers, despite having a completely separate full time job of his own.
SO GIVE KEVIN A BREAK FOLKS! HE'LL GET TO YOU WHEN HE GETS TO YOU!

the reason i ask because i want to arrange with him best logistic option.
Kevin is flexible, but at the moment logistics options out of China are limited. I wanted to use EMS but had to settle for DHL if I wanted the lens in less than 6-8 weeks. Wait for Kevin to contact you and discuss the options with him.

I've recently bought stuff from China via EMS. While the shipping time suggests 6-8 weeks, everything showed up in a couple of weeks.

That's good to know. I know it must be a huge undertaking for Kevin, but I hope that he is doing this for all of the lenses.

Kevin is doing a great job for such a distribution plan that is very hard to do. We will know more about the overall quality of this venture as more people will receive their lenses.

I keep eagerly watching this thread, waiting to hear about the second batch. So seeing all your lenses come through is very nice (although admittedly I’m a little jealous).
I’ve emailed Kevin a while back and am just waiting (and hoping) to get a reply. I appreciate he’s been inundated with correspondence, but I’m soooooo keen to make sure I get one from the next batch.

You can choose your carrier, I EMS or what ever if its available. I chose DHL.
Shipped from Shanghai. Took about 6 days from shipping, during this pandemic situation - expect delays of some sort.
