Kevin posted a while back that he was waiting on a brass version, as well. I am beginning to lose hope, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Has anyone received an LLL replica lens recently? I paid for mine towards the end of August but have not had word on shipment yet.

If memory serves, it was almost 2 months from payment to receiving the lens (in the US) for me. Hope that helps!

I got mine about 3 weeks after making payment.
Actually the time for customs clearance is one week since it arrived in my country.

No TR3B, the RFF allocation of first gen flint glass was exhausted sometime in Dec 2019 I think.

Those first 500 orders are being filled as COVID and other delays allow, at the great RFF price.

Occasionally on Ebay there are some non RFF ones , with possibly different specs, popping up at significantly higher prices.

He will eventually, if what others have written, and my experience is typical. I got on the list Dec. 9th and only received request for payment in mid-September. In Kevin's message he indicated it meant the lens was in the final production stages and would be shipped to him probably in a month (mid-late Oct). From what he has written here, it sounds like he inspects/tests each lens before delivery to the recipient, which of course adds more time. I haven't received an update regarding shipping, so assume he's still waiting to receive my lens, or is in the process of checking it. In the payment email he mentioned he was still waiting to receive the previous month's batch of lenses, so it's possible everything is dragging on a bit longer.

Given that others have received the lens and that this is a side 'hobby' project for the manufacturer, plus Covid complications, the very slow progress is understandable. If this was to be standard production from an established manufacturer, I think most would generally be less patient with how this project has unfolded.
