Hi all,

First post on this fine forum. I've lurked a lot over the last day or so because I found a Canonet QL17/GIII in a Pawn Shop for $20.

Here is my first roll:

This roll consists of pictures of my home and also Old Salem in Winston-Salem, NC. I'd appreciate your comments, especially about photos 14A, 30A and 31A where the camera had some problem in advancing the film to the next shot.

It was developed by Walgreens (ugh) who burned it onto a CD which I uploaded to flickr.

Thanks for your expertise!

livesteamer is right about a CLA. I looked at the frames you mentioned, and the overlap is clear. This might disappear with use - run a couple more rolls through it and see - because, if it's been sitting unused for years the wind-on mechanism could have gotten crudded up. Operating it frequently clears it. Certainly nothing wrong with the lens!

Paulus,

Look at your negatives for 14A, 30A and 31A and see if the overlap is on the negatives. It is possible that the Walgreens scanner has a problem and not your Canon.
