Greetings!
I decided to get another X100 after not being with one for almost two years. I sold my last copy to fund my GA645i and thinking the prices would deflate to the point of a couple of hundred. Well I was wrong but thats ok with me. I loved the X100 and didnt mind (or didnt really notice) the lack of AF speed. I shoot a lot of "at home" images, so the X100 fit the bill perfect once again. I did almoooost pull the trigger on a X100f (it was in the cart!!), but decided that if i liked the original why not just get another at a third of the price.
Anyway, cheers to everyone still shooting the original X100 in 2019 and the coming 2020!

Almost 9 years old and still loved. In digital, that’s Leica longevity. Haha.

I feel the same way about mine. I have the original X100. What ever the newer models do, I don't feel the need to change. I'm happy with my X100. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, right?

My M5s need red dots!
I sold my X-100 to fund my X-Pro1. I'm kinda happier that way, but I recall how the X-100 never attracted any attention... unless it was from fellow X-100 users.

I just got an original X100 two days ago. Really pleased with the images it produces. I have XE2 and XPro2 and so far, the X100 really shines.

Still using my original X100. I'm still quite happy with it. Lovely camera to use, especially the OVF.

A few days in and I 'm sure its a keeper for the long run. I set it to monochrome and added a few accessories and should be getting a Gordy strap soon.
Happy holidays to all!

Ok give: What accessories?
For my X100 (a keeper for 6? years now), I added a shutter button (small, red, convex), thumb rest (hot shoe mounted, which also shields the hotshoe catchpoints), a vented lens hood, and Peak Design anchor links. The anchors clip into a Luigi strap, which moves to whatever camera is on my neck. When I bought my X100 (used), it came with the filter-adapter nosepiece, which I’m grateful for else I’d be messing about with reversed filters and extensions and whatnot. It wears a 49ø UV filter, a 49-52 step ring, and the 52ø vented hood. A pinch lens cap fits inside the hood. Two batteries. I use 16GB SD cards, mostly because I understand the X100 has a very slow startup with larger cards.

I got one of the first batch X100s when they arrived in the U.K. I shot plenty with it and enjoyed it but eventually sold it. Now I’ve had the X100F for two years and it’s only been used twice.

New model is probably coming out in February. Amazon currently has the silver X100F in silver for $900.04.

I still have my original X100 bought new by me as soon as they came out in the UK (2011) and I still use it.
For those in the UK you can pick up a new X100F from LCE for £819 including cash back.

Not to your extent haha, but I added the thumb grip, Lens hood (..although I really like the square lens hood..hmm), nice fitting and nice looking generic case with hand grip and the Gordy strap that I'll be adding on soon. That's about it! I only had a 64gb card, so it will remain there until I find a 16gb card that I know I have somewhere.
