They should in theory be very similar but if the paper is not the same age there may a difference. I cut strips from a sheet of the paper from the same box I'm going to print from.
Yes time will increase when you make bigger print. Also it will look slightly different on bigger print so you may have to adjust your print times/contrast accordingly.
There are various formulas for calculating the time difference when changing the magnification but the best way in the end is to produce some new test strips which get the right contrast at the same time. Especially if you change the cropping slightly.
