I have shot with slr's all my life, right to the Canon 5D. I thought it might be interesting to try something a little different, mostly because I read an article on the ew Leica digital rangefinder and thought that that is a lot of money for an experiment on my part 🙂

It seems that most of you still shoot film, do you scan it?

Also, do you shoot colour or balck and white? To me, the camera is designed for balck and white but I may change my mind once I start using it....or them.

There's the next problem. I was tempted to post to the waiting for the mail thread because i decided to buy 3 cameras and probably flip two once I have runa roll of film through each of them. I'd love to know how many cameras you have and use as well.

I'd say if you are shooting film and have a website and/or posting your film based photographs online you either have a scanner or have it scanned.
I have a scanner, I have an Epson 4180 that does both 35mm and 120.
I shoot b&w and color in both slide and negative forms.
I only have one RF camera, but I have four Holgas!
Take the plunge and shoot film, your photography will thank you for it!
Good Luck!

Welcome, Isca.
I still shoot film through RFs, but will probably switch to digital when I get comfortable with whatever may be available at that point. From what I have read the M8 has some very strong points but a number of issues that are still not fully resolved.
When shooting film, it's mostly color neg. I scan on a Minolta Dual 4 and print digitally. I have three film bodies and am in the process of acquiring a fourth. Two of this total are RFs, one is a Nikonos III which has a VF but no RF, and the other is an SLR. I don't use the film SLR very much any more, but I'm loath to part with it.

Four Holgas!!! Nice combo Brain, you don't need changing film on the road.😀

1 for slide
1 for B/W
1 for Neg.
1 for Polaroid!

No it's more like, one for color, one for b&w, one that I put 35mm through and the fourth is a PinHolga.
I wish I had another R2A, that I could have one loaded with color and the other with b&w..
Oh Well..
