Hi, all -
Today's mail brought a mini-Christmas:
There's so much stuff - the camera, the flash, a meter - all in original packaging, with manuals, and receipts for everything. I haven't even gone through half of the paperwork yet. It's enough to make you giddy, I tells ya.
The camera itself is a piece of work. The fit and finish is fantastic. It's heavy, well-machined, and smooth.
It needs a little cleaning up, and the shutter was stuttering badly on the low speeds. I think this might be exacerbated by the temps we've been having of late. Anyway, I wasted no time in opening up the Konirapid-S shutter:
It cleaned up nicely, has been lubed and reassembled, and is running great now. No self timer on this model, but has flash sync. The brightwork needs a little spit-shining, but, c'mon - where's the fun in that? I just got back from Rite Aid with a few rolls of film. Gonna load this puppy up, toot-sweet.
Woot!

Nice camera Scott !
The shutter looks much the same as a Compur.

Looks great! Don't ya hate waiting while the package acclimates to indoor temps from being out in the cold truck? I'm not good at it!
