Is it just me or when I am shooting with the 50mm frames lines of my Leica I feel so much more in love with the focal length (even the 35mm lines seem amazing). Going from a SLR equipped with a 50mm to a RF with the same lines, the RF allows so much more than what the SLR has to offer. I honestly can say buying anymore 50mm lenes for the SLR is pretty much out of the question, its going to be wideangle or telephoto from now on for Nikon.
I though I would just rant this being new to my Leica.
 
I wouldn't quite call that a rant, but...
I'm with you completely on the Leica's virtues of framelines: they are the entire soul of a RF, and by being projected onto the scene allow composition to be understood far more easily than a tunnel-vision SLR.

It's a nice feeling, no?
 
I take it you're talking about what you can see outside the framelines. That's a major distinguishing characteristic of RFs and what I liked most when I came over from SLRs to RFs.
