So, you are two RF man. I am interested in your thoughts about both your R2 and M4-P. How do they compare? I am a Bessa man, but am often tempted by a nice Leica. I am also interested specifically in the M4-P, they seem to be the potential bargin buy of the M series.

A M4-P and a R2 sounds like an nice RF kit, what lenses are you using?.. I just had a look over your site, nice layout.. I like the shot of Justus.

You know, the R2 is really no louder than any non-Leica, but I actually let the thought that the shutter is loud enter my mind sometimes when I am shooting. Silly I know. I compare it to my Konica Auto S3, which is so quite and there is so little vibration, that sometimes I wonder if the shutter really fired. Honestly, I can't tell. And $600 sounds like a great price. Good to have you aboard.

You'll notice how things tend to happen in weird spurts around here. There was a major Leica-purchasing wave here a while ago, then came in the Canon and a lot of people became proud Canon P owners... Now, with a Leica on sale in the Classified section, we never know what'll develop...
But we are, indeed, a happy bunch!
