I remember Tom A. stating that the Bessa III had a nice durable body. Even if plastic, plastics today are very durable. This is a gas item for sure. I doubt I'll be able to get one being it's probably going to be in the $1100.00 range from what I read.

Oh heck. I was hoping that this camera would be able to shoot 6x6/6x7 digital video too. Darn.

I'm working on the Boss and she's getting used to the idea. It's not going to be easy for us to afford it, but that's the only new camera I'd want. I showed her the big pics from the german website, now I'll have to show her the video. Thanks for posting this!
