Great news, but how is manual focusing working for those that have tried manual activation and then the magnified view and then framing once again? How does it work in the real world?

Pardon my ignorance, but as far as I could find out, the sensor of the NEX-5 is 50% larger than the micro 4/3's size, so that would work out at about the APS size. Would a lens designed for the full 35mm film format, as are our beloved Nikon RF lenses, see their field of view reduced? In other words, would the 3.5cm have an equivalent field of view of a 50mm lens?
