This is with a yellow filter (K2) and Agfa Scopix X-ray film, rated @ 125 iso and processed in Beutler developer. This film has a different anti halation backing than "normal" film and has a good "glow" or flare in bright highlights. Focus on the front bumper/nearest headlight.

This lens in M configuration is going to be a sure fire hit. The price is not too high either for what you get.

Tom, nice car. If they were priced the same, I would opt for the Caddy over the Heliar. As the Heliar is closer to my budget, I think I'm going to have to grab one of these.

Very nice shots!
And thanks for the side-by-side lens pics. I guess that larger filter ring/hood made it look much larger to me at first.

Tom, is that film currently available or just old stock that you've got on hand? A few quick searches only seemed to turn up sheet film products with the Scopix label.

If you want to see that glow with commercially available film, then get some Lucky. It exhibits the same glow
If you cannot get it easily where you are send me PM, and we can work out a deal.

I think what I have is "old stock". A friend donated 1200 ft of it to me. Of course, that is 230+ rolls so it will keep me busy over the summer (it seems to give me between 100-125 iso in Beutler developer). Very thin base, Robert- the 'donor" likens it to trying to roll wet toilet paper on to the reels!
I just pulled out my old 28f8 Tessar and stuck it on the SW Zeiss. It is a prewar lens and prone to flare as it is - should be interesting to see what the Scopix does with that!!
