New waterproof Voigtlander VC Meter II !!

My keyless entry car widget survived a washing machine excursion.

My passport did not survive a swimming pool experience.

A friend had a toilet experience with her mobile phone. I would not have touched it after that but she used it.

Dave: any updates on this soggy saga? Is the light meter still operational; hopefully you still won't have to reach deep, take a plunge and replace it. That'll be a crapper. 😉

I figured there would be "puns-a-plenty" with this incident 🙂

Meter is still happily functioning today.

I did as RJ had suggested (even before he had suggested it and before I had written this post) 😀 - dried off the meter, took out the batteries, shook the meter, took some q-tips to dry off the battery compartments, left the meter and batteries "open" for the evening - dropped the batteries back into the meter this morning and it's "all good" 🙂
