... and now, mr K., it's time for a 35mm Bessapano!
cheers,
Oh, if Voigtlander made a cheaper Xpan, I'd buy it right away!

Several people suspected this was in the works. Funny that they'd make this as sluggish as the Bessa III's sales have been.

Can't quite figure out how this camera compares size-wise to a Mamiya 6 with the 50mm lens in collapsed position... Any idea?

I take it the production version will have the screws covered up, to stop compulsive tinkerers going where they shouldn't!!!

3k or less and I will go for it...might take a while to get the $$$ though
I have been looking at the Mamiya 6/7/7ii for a whle now. Prices are decent and i think it is a great set up BUT......
My thought is i dont want another system and the complusion to buy all fo the lenses and accessories
I like the small size of the fuji and apparent ease of use.

I'd like to think that leaving the screws uncovered would permit the fitting of panels with different lens and shutter assemblies, rather like the LF cameras. Maybe you couldn't change lenses mid roll but at least you could select a different lens when you changed the film - and that's when you change the 6x6 or 6x7 setting too!. That would be a rather nice feature.

I have no basis of comparison with the Mamiya but I estimate that with a fixed 55mm FL lens the overall depth of the GF670W camera will be pretty much twice the depth of the body alone. (without hood or filters attached).
