Couldn't have picked a worse time for a visit, but despite the snow, rain and slush, i enjoyed myself. (Noo Yawkers are a friendly bunch!)

My fave of this selection is the one with the person by fence with spot of light on them. Very nice.

You got some great shots despite the weather! Hard to pick a favorite
The second-to-last has a wonderful mood. The one before that and the shot of the bar especially caught my eye too

Hi Dan! Thanks! That was just off Pershing Square, just next to Grand Central. Was very lucky with the light there.

I wished i shot more in the snow though...but i didn't want risking my camera in the weather. I have more shots on my iphone from in the snow/rain than my camera.
That bar shot was from Katz Deli! I'm hungry thinking about the reuben/pastrami sandwich that i had..it was so good.

Thank you Ko.Fe.!
Helen! It really is a wonderful city, so alive and writhing with energy.
I took the shot off 10th Avenue on the High Line. The apartments there are gorgeous (I bet the prices are too..). Perhaps we can meet next time im there again!

Ned Bojic- Thanks!
Emile, i envy you, it must have been a wonderful place to have lived in.
kuuan - i particularly like the 1st shot myself ( i reckon i like it the most amongst the shots).
And just for kicks - one shot from Times Square in color!

I love the pictures even though I generally do not like big cities, Saigon being the only exception.

NYC is such a great place to visit and fun to be in. You captured the city well in spite of the inclement weather. I liked all the photos equally. Thanks so much.
