. Just got my second film back and thought i might share some with you. I would welcome any feedback on them...always room for improvement and good adice from fellow rangefinder shooters. Also when shooting in the street do you ever approach the person you have taken the picture of?

They're good all three of them. Number 1 is good but I found the OOF background taking away some of the impact, with the white sign detracting a bit. Overall, I like 2 and 3 best, with 3 being one of those "wow!" photos I see once in a while. Love the limited DoF on that one. Good start with the Leica.
A couple of niggles: number 2 could do even better with some slight cropping on the leftmost side, leaving out the black thingie in the distance. Try out number 3 with some different cropping, on the bottom. Maybe try a more panoramic cropping? Just some thoughts...

G'day from your next door neighbour
I particularly like the middle image and I'm intrigued by what the objects in the 3rd are?
I haven't quite manged to approach strangers as potential street subjects, and as a result take more street/landscape sort of stuff or candids rather than posed shots. There's a few images of your beautiful country in my gallery - all with the CV15mm
keep on posting your examples - you might like to set up a gallery here too.

G'day! Nice work, especially the second. What lens?
One suggestion - can you resize your images to 600 pixels high and medium jpg quality (with "Save for web" if you have it)? That will still give good quality on most screens but much smaller files for downloading.

I do like these, as I do daring compositions in general, but I think the grayscale could be more snappy, clearer black and white, I mean, especially #2.
Interesting photos, especially the third one. The partial crops of people are also interesting in 1 and 2. I would not crop, they are what they are. When shooting in the street, I never ask anybody. Better to ask forgiveness than permission when you already have that great shot. Most people never notice or care, and when they do, a big smile will generally disarm them. I see you're 21? I'm 23, it always makes me happy to see people from the digital generation using old fashioned film.

Thanks for the feedback so far guys...especially the aussie dudes...glad to know the boys across the ditch are still keepinf film alive...as the for the pics, number two is cropped to remove a distracting person from the shot however the first shot was NOT cropped, that was how i composed the shot when i took it...the crazy ball thingys are a crazy peice art on the street with these have balls on it, however the polished surface of the metal had similar tones to the sky and kinda merged
