Newbie: Bessa R2 w 35mm Color Skopar pancake

Hi All,
New to the forum and RF photo. fairly new to DSL. have a Nikon D-40 as well. I'm asking for general comments about this Bessas set-up. Any suggestions for color as well as B&W photography? I have not taken a pic yet with this camera or any other RF for that matter. Can you folks provide me with coaching or general tips?

By DSL do you mean DSLR? As in D40? Probably not much interest for that around here. How long have you had it, how often do you use it? What do you point it at?
As for your other questions, it's hard to answer because they're so vague or all-embracing. For example, - "suggestions for colour or B&W". Basically choose what sort of output you want and buy either colour or B&W film, or just buy colour and convert the scanned negatives to B&W. What are you wanting to do? What style of photography do you favour? What subjects do you mostly take photographs of?
My suggestion would be to get some film, start taking some photographs and then if there are things you don't understand or want to improve, ask specific questions about that.
If on the other hand you have not yet bought the R2 + 35 that you refer to, then you need to answer some of the questions above before anybody will know where to start.
