newbie question: where to buy?

I am new to this forum, and in the process of picking up with film again. the Zeiss looks like a nice camera. Are there authorized dealers in the USA? Any that people have used in the SF Bay Area?
Is there a USA importer that provides warranty service, or does the camera have to be sent overseas if it needs service?

(I tried searching the forum and could not find answers.)

I'm in the Bay Area too, David. But I didn't find anywhere local to go see one in person. So I ended out getting my ZI and Biogon 2/35 from B&H, but would have felt very comfortable purchasing from popflash (Tony), as he has had wonderful and responsive customer service with me in the past; adorama (ditto on their customer service); and matsuiyastore (on ebay), as I've heard nothing but good things about him.

If you are wanting to take a look see at a ZI and happen to be at the Love Fest parade in SF on Saturday, I'd be more than willing to meet up and let you have a fondle or two (of the camera ...!) to see if you like it. Let me know (pm or in the thread here is fine).

if you're looking to handle one, camera west in monterey and walnut creek sell them.
i was in fireside camera on chestnut street in SF the other day and they had a couple of zeiss lenses, but i didn't see any bodies. if you go there, be prepared for fairly rude sales people. they don't have much to say until they size up your financial standing...
