So I purchased my first Contax G1 on craigslist. Being new to the interchangable lens', up until this point I have been using a Yashica MG-1 and a Konica Auto S2, what should be my first lens?
Thanks,
Mike

28 mm is a good start. How are your photos coming along? I love my G2

If you are used to the Konica and the Yashica's field of view, the 45mm G lense seems like something with which you'll be able to get comfortable very quickly.
the g28 recommended by xxfellinixx is a great lens, and if you are willing to try something radically different from the FOV of your fixed lens cameras. However, one of the nice things about wide angles is the ability to zone focus easily and with the G system that will be a bit of a challenge due to the lack of distance markings on the lens barrel.

I just bought G1 and 45/2 is my first lens....a very good walkaround lens.
Later I will add 21mm.
note:
I have Konica Auto S2 as well , nice fixed lens RF
