Here's my newest jewel.

Well maintained camera apart from small marring of chrome here and there. And the occasional chipped paint on the borders... Tell-tale marks of a long time user camera. But the inner workings are in remarkable condition: smooth winding, snappy shutter action and a bright VF.

The J-8 looks nice also. Can't wait to develop the first roll out of this beast! Actually loaded it with some cheapo Agfa film, off to shoot. 😎

My favorite details in this camera are the beveled windows and Cyrillic engravings. Also that older-style vulcanite adds to the very special FSU camera aroma! Mirror-polished chrome on the J-8 looks very 'classic' as well.

Will have to shoot that roll quickly, so that I can verify there are no light leaks.

Yep, you got the good one. The first model Zorki-4 definitely is the nicest!

I just recently got a '62 with what is probably the original lens. Needs a little TLC but they are rather nice. Interestingly my 4K is actually far smoother but doesn't feel as solid. Then again the 4K did have a pretty thorough CLA so I guess the 4 will need it too.
