Has anyone made a comparison between this combination and the Leica X2?
I mean in terms of IQ, because otherwise the specifications appear pretty much similar:i.e. 16mp APS-C sensor, 24mm, F1.8.
However X2 seems far more portable, and the Sony combination far more expensive.
It appears that as of today there is not such a comparison around
Any input of yours or a link would be highly appreciated.

i can only speak about it based upon things ive read online and performance ive seen in videos. the NEX6 would be the best buy if you need fast AF and high ISO and interchangeable lenses and a built in EVF and wait... the NEX6 is better in almost every way haha.
i would only really buy the X2 if you wanted a Leica branded item or needed something compact (in which case the X100S is the same size, no?). imo, the NEX6 set up is worth the extra money.

Have you tried any manual lenses on the 6?
Does the viewfinder improve focus peeking speed and accuracy?
This was my impression when tested at a local Sony shop.
on the other hand portability is an important factor as the viewfinder is.
but hey: X2+EVF=NEX6+SEL24F18.
