Nex-7 Viewfinder Question

I was not impressed with the physical design of the EVF on the 5n I looked at a few months ago. It just struck me as being a kludge.

It has its advantages and disadvantages. Once you have the camera out and you're shooting, I think the 5n is a bit better because it does tilt, allowing you to play a little with the angle between you and the camera–I actually like this a lot more than I expected I would. Getting the camera+evf in and out of a tight bag, however, is a pain, so set up and break down are slower.

If you're a left-eye shooter, the 5n does have the advantage as well.

But the EVFs are the same specs... both just great.

Yes and no. You can adjust the raw file any way you like in the raw converter, but "creative styles" does affect the default view of the image when it first opens in the raw converter.

But that's only at the very first view, as you import, methinks. As soon as you view the image it comes up with default settings. At least in Lightroom.
