Hi,

I'm planning on getting a nex-6 to use with M and ltm lenses.

I realise that I could also use all the C mount lenses that I have. (let's put 'D' mount to ne side for now, guess the 'coverage' would be limited.

With 'C' mount I guess coverage will depend on the lens but my question is more to do with collimation or ltf differences. Reflex Bolex lenses are different from the non reflex ones, B&H may be different too, I don't know.

Is there a c mount - nex adaptor which has some ability to focus or any adjustment?

There are only two major flange focal distances for 1" thread lenses, C (0.69in) and CS (for short, 12,5mm). 16mm cine, whether reflex or not, generally uses the former, CCTV in recent years usually the latter.

Your bigger problem will be coverage - short, fast lenses generally will not cover APS-C (and short lengths would be the area where C mount has a availability advantage). 16mm is less than half the linear size (and 25% of the area) of the APS-C Nex sensor, and CCTV/video tends to be either smaller or lower resolution.

Sevo, Many thanks.

The use of 'C' mount lenses is more of an experiment than a reason for buying the camera. I'll get a cheap 'C' adaptor and see what happens.
