I had some pretty nice seats for a Pistons home game v. the Celtics the other night. Nex 5 / CV 40mm @ 2.8 ~250 sec. iso 1600 pre-focused on the net. Not prize winners, but I think it did pretty well. I wish I had brought a longer lens with me because I had to do some PP cropping. Pistons won! go figure.

Heh, I suppose. I wanted to share a couple pics that show the nex is capable of shooting sports with it's lack of noticeable shutter lag. Next time I go to a game, it'll have a 90mm on it.
New title for thread:
"Nex Capable of Shooting Sports"
Another bonus is the arena doesn't allow you to bring "professional" (DSLR) cameras in, nex looks like a point and shoot.
