Yes, and it works well with all of my lenses, including the G lenses -- while it doesn't indicate what aperture is used, the LCD image does brighten/darken appropriately when I turn the ring on the adapter. I don't have the exact one on your link. The one I have is on the link below, although I don't recall paying that much.
The tripod adapter would definitely come in handy with the bigger lenses. Will have to think about whether to try the lower priced one or just go with the jinfinace one. I've gotten other stuff from him, and it's always worked fine.

330501669347 looks like a G (AFS compatible) one w/o tripod mount is under $30 shipped.
Anyone compare these with other vendors offerings? Can the G (AFS) ones be used with older non AI/AIS lens as well?
Edit: OK, I think I see how it works, lock stops down, and open, opens up G/AFS lenses. But is there enough throw in there to go in-between open and stopped down (using say shutter speed in A mode to let you know your approx aperture)? Or is it simply fully open, or fully stopped down?
I have some lenses that go to f32 and would almost never use at that setting.
