Here are some shots from my Sony NEX5 using the Nikon 17-35mm f2.8 lens. I used the tilt-transformer as an adapter, although I didn't try the tilt ability (I'll post some results on that later). Those were taken on top of Mount Lafayette, NH.

I agree, very nice. I am really impressed with the NEX. Of course, using a Nikkor on the camera doesn't hurt, either!
 
Very impressive pictures indeed! Must have been a cold place to stay.

By the way, how did the battery behave at these low temperatures? Or did you pack a couple of them? I've found that the 330 picture rating is optimistic to say the least..

Thanks ! The battery did behave correctly. I had only one, but kept it warm between the shots. I must have taken about 150 pictures and 30% of the battery remained (at -10C). But the battery is somewhat new, I'm planning on buying a second one for longer hikes.
