So I have the M6, I have the 50mm F2 but now i'm saving up for a 28mm

What shall I get? Second hand 28/2.8 Elmarit or a new Zeiss 28/2.8 Biogon? Is there much different between them both?

They are both very good. The shots I have seen posted from the Zeiss (perhaps not a good indication but when you have nothing else...) have been excellent. See if you can try them at a camera store to see if you are more comfortable with one more than the other. There is also the M-Hexanon 28/2.8 from Konica which is also a very high-quality optic.

Owning most of biogons (Exept 28mm) and 28 elmarit ASPH, I can say my non technical feeling about all this, I think zeiss is great in colors and leica is magical in black and white (you can shout at me)
