Nicca Camera Cases

I have a Nicca case with a metal bracket on the end which I have read is for a flash. If you'll check eBay listings for Nicca cases and look under "Completed Auctions" there should be several examples shown. Currently one of the examples has an additional metal part that reminds me of the flash bracket on a Speed Graphic, only a lot smaller. Anyway, I've searched for information on this bracket and the flash that would attach to it with zero results. If someone can provide any information about this I would be most grateful.

I have the little 3 x 6 tri-fold booklet that came with my Nicca III, but there's no mention of flash or cases there... but this version of the Nicca also had no flash sync.


I wonder if butkus.org has some Nicca literature that might give you some info ?

Yes. That case has the bracket I'm talking about. And, yes, I checked Butkus before posting.

Nice work Frank. I checked for Nicca cameras with Butkus but didn't realize he had flash manuals too. Well, there's more than one way to skin a cat, I looked for Nicca flash on eBay and found a Nicca/Tower one for parts. Then I looked for Tower flash and found a good one. I've ordered it already.
It's great to have the manual to go with it. Thanks again Frank!

The Nicca B-C flash brochure was kind of "buried" in the "off-brand" dept.

Looks like a slick outift... I almost started wanting one, and then I remembered that my Nicca doesn't have flash sync ! 😛
