Nikkor 35/1.8 AF-S G full coverage on 35mm film?

I bought this lens for use on a d200, but if i throw it into my EM it looks like I have corner to corner coverage... Anyone Use this lens on film?

it'll vignette more and more as you stop down to the point where the corners will be black.

I believe the image circle also gets smaller as you focus closer to infinity. But that might be backwards

Can an EM use a G-type lens with no aperture ring?

From experience the 35/1.8 will cover full frame at portrait distance say up to 10 feet. Beyond that you will get dark corners.

First of all. being a G lens, on a MF film Nikon, the lens is permanently on f/22 (or f/16 if that's your smallest aperture). And it's not built to cover that much real estate. But if you like what you're getting.... I don't know how, but I promise no one will stop you.

The EM cannot use G lenses, but it's the only nikkor full frame / 35 camera I own. Thanks for the links everyone!
