While waiting for the arrival of a Bessa R I went through my LTM lenses and noticed that my Nikkor 35mm won't focus to infinity and jams around 12 ft. in the scale. The lens is in pretty clean shape, no marks or hazing and the barrel shows no signs of abuse. It's been a while since I used it probably 4-5 years ago on a IIIf and it took some nice pictures then.
I'm sort of a DIY guy and if it is a simple fix wherein there's a URL or you can share tips on how to repair, I'd appreciate it. However if it is a complicated process beyond the realm of DIY please suggest a professional who can do a good job at a reasonable cost.
Thanks in advance for your help!

I have not had the Nikkor LTM's apart. The Canon LTM's use a retaining ring in the back to hold the lens module into the mount. Is there one on the 3.5cm?
