Beat all to hell, scraped down to bare brass and with marks all over the front coating. Fits my style just fine.

Tri-X at 3200, window light. Lens wide open, of course.

Nice moody shot, side-lit and limited dof for a good 3D effect. Hard to read which mood though. Is it "C'mon quit fiddling with that lens and get it over with." Or???

Great photo and another must get lens. I really enjoy using my old MF 85mm F1.8 Nikkor on my SLRs. Seems to be an easy to get along with focal length. Have fun.

This is an amazing lens; I have a Pop Photo test of it done a few years ago that put it right up with the latest 85's.

Nice portrait, as stated before it captures a mood.

I hope you do not mind me adding a shot with it; taken at the Butterfly Center at Calloway Gardens in Georgia, indoors, closest focus, and Wide-Open. Nikkor 8.5cm F2 in LTM on the Canon 7.

Great shots, nice lenses. Ain't buying none of 'em though. So there. :)

merciful,

85mm length is one of my favorite lens for portraits. How does your subject like this shot?

Would you mind if I played with the portait for a another interpretation? And if so could she critque the interpretation?

I am trying to find out what people like in portraits and not just what photographers like.

Thanks,

Wayne
