Nikkor MF rubber ring replacement

I see that a lot of MF nikkor end up with a focus rings that loose their elasticity, and slowly dilate until they slip over the metal.

Where can I find replacements for them?

I still didn't find any reliable source for all types of AI/AIS lenses.

You might not a source for all of the rings, but might have to settle for just buying individual ones as you need them. Again, try ebay.

Of course, I tried ebay.
There are only a few of these on ebay, and only ONE is for an AI lens.

Any repair person that may stock them?

Call Nikon Service Centre? I think they might be able to help.

There is a repair guy that is selling a lot of Nikon stuff on ebay. Also maybe Pacific Rim Camera. They sell a lot of repair stuff on ebay too, maybe contact them specifically. Other than that, I'd try cameraquest.com, or internet search on classical Nikon repair (unfortunately Pete Smith isn't amongst them any more).
