Still alive after all these years. Who knew? I sold my Canon VI-T and 35/2.8 lens, but I kept the Nikkor 50/1.4 and 85/2.0. I need to put the 50 back in action.

There you are... I thought maybe you had kicked the bucket since I haven't seen any posts from ya lately..

Howdy. I've been working too much. Trying to retire. No photography to my dismay. When the tap water in Houston drops below simmer I will attempt to get back in practice.
Thanks for the welcome back from the missing.

I know how that is.. You don't have to turn on the hot water to get a hot shower.. I did come up with a solution though for rinsing film after developement. I bought one of those fittings that screws into the faucet and lets you screw a garden hose into it. Using a 50ft hose coiled in one side of the sink covered with water I cover the hose with ice and run the water slowly. You should get a couple of bags of ice..

Thanks. I'll give that a try. And get up at 0:dark 30 to develop the film. The things we do without any hope of monetary reward.
