Howdy. I've been working too much. Trying to retire. No photography to my dismay. When the tap water in Houston drops below simmer I will attempt to get back in practice.
Thanks for the welcome back from the missing.

Sent from somewhere around here.
I have the same problem in suburban Sacramento County. I've just about decided that, going forward, Diafine will be my summer developer.

I am not a Nikon RF shooter, so I haven't checked this thread. I'm glad I did. Man-o-man, there are some wonderful photos here!

I got tempted by other lenses for a while but have recently rediscovered how wonderful the 50mm f/1.4 2005 reissue lens is.
I looked but it seems there isn't a dedicated thread for that lens?

The more I look at this thread the more I' m convinced the nikkor 50 1.4 would make a perfect match with the lux 35 pre asph infinity lock.

Absolutely Giulio! The way both these lenses transform from wide open aperture when stopped down just one stop and the way both behave really makes them a dream pair ;-)
The only secret to the 5cm f1.4 Nikkor is that you get yours adjusted just the right way you want it (it is a Sonnar lens and you can calibrate it any way a person prefers).

Thanks Dirk.
I am not in a hurry but a I will start looking for a good copy either in LTM or S mount.
I would like to use it on my M2s with an adapter or maybe succumb and enter the Nikon RF world in 2016 ;-)
Too bad Europe is not a big market for Nikon RF stuffs.

Giulio, these are best bought from friends here on RFF and are regularly offered in the classifieds ;-)
There is a new adaptor from Amedeo dedicated to 50mm only and would be a great item to use a Nikkor S 50mm on a Leica M and a Nikon RF.
As a bonus, the Nikon S mount version is usually a lot less costly than the LTM version.

Thanks Dirk, I will indeed keep an eye in the classifieds.
The new amedeo adapter + s mount nikkor seems the way to go.
Something to looking for in 2016 ;-) !
