Thank you! This is a late version of the 50/1.4 that I got from a member here (thank you, HH). Given its reputation as a lens for close-up and wide open, it has done well as a landscape lens too.

This is a nice photo, but to me looks very atypical for the Nippon Kogaku Nikkor 5cm 1.4 lens in either Nikon rangefinder or Leica thread mount.

Well, consider me impressed. Indeed I thought you may have confused the lens with a different one, because the image looks so 'clean', without any of the glow this lens usually displays at wide apertures.
