Just received a very nice 35mm F2.5. The clicks do not match the markings on the scale. Off by 1/2 stop. Not a big deal for me, but anyone else have this issue and should I use the "clicks" or the scale markings?

If it's a Nikon rf lens
The optical assembly is off in the mount
If I remember correctly you loosen the ring on the back of the lens (there may be a setscrew) and set the optic in a place where aperture clicks match
Can't remember if I pulled the optics module out front to do this (there is a brass shim ring there don't lose it)
It was about 20 years ago I had to do this with a chrome 35 f2.5 nikkor

this sounds like the set screw on the aperture ring getting loose. You will have to fiddle with it by opening it up and rematch it. It is an easy process for this lens if only the lens is in front of me 😱😱😱

Thanks

Thanks

where are you from 😱😱😱
I may know people who are near you who can help🙄

I live in Kansas City, Mo. USA. I have found a local shop that I thought was gone, but moved. I will check them out. Midwest Camera Repair gave me a price of $90.00 and will match focus to my Contax iia. Not bad, but shipping, etc. will cost also. Thanks
