I acquired the Nikon 35Ti recently. It's in great shape cosmetically-no scratches, not even any bright marks. Operationally perfect.
The only flaw: it is missing the plastic eyepiece around the viewfinder. While that does not impact the functionality of the camera, it is irritating to see the missing piece everytime I shoot with it. Does anyone know where I can purchase that part?
Thanks!

Try Nikon? And if they aren't servicing the Ti, maybe they can recommend some one?

Thanks. I did check the Nikon website, and could not find the 35Ti eyepiece in the parts section. But calling them is a good idea. They should have a better idea on where to get 35Ti parts.

Did you succeed? I have also a Ti35 and it would be nice to know how the spare part situation is.

Nope. They had no idea where I can get the eyepiece for the 35Ti. Not sure where else to go.

NIkon cameras seem to have a problem with their eye pieces not being well affixed. Twice before the eye piece on my D200 has gone missing. Only this morning I picked up my old D70s to use for a bit of a change and specifcially noted that the eyepiece was in place (I have learned to check such things regularly) - but after walking out the door and a hundred meters down the street with it I found it was now missing. I had to go searching and fortunately eventually found it on the floor of my house hiding behind a pot plant where it had fallen. I only mention this because of the coinicidence of me reading this thread so soon after that happened - and the fact that it seems to be far too common in my experience.

Contact bocaphoto.com -- they have a lot of parts and accessories. They're closed until the 21st, but try them after that date. Oh, and let us know if they have one.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Thanks, I sold my Ti35 a few weeks ago.

Just got my 35Ti yesterday. Great camera. As of now it still has the eyepiece. I wonder if I should use a tiny bit of glue to make sure the eyepiece doesn't come off. So far it seems quite sturdy but you never know.

I'd be more concerned about glue accidentally migrating into different parts of the camera before it dries than the off chance of losing the eyepiece. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

I disagree. If you use some other glue other than Superglue, it should be OK. I carefully take it it off and re-glue it if it were mine. Waiting to have it fall off might be a little risky due the the unavailability of replacement parts. I did the same thing w/ the ring around the rewind crank on my Minolta CLE--another easily lost part.
