Nikon 800ED Scanner help please.

Hello,
I am having some trouble with software. It looks like my software download CD's have either been stolen or destroyed with a bunch of other stuff, an X that I now call the REPTILE most likely the cause.
I had a software issue and Nikon told me to trash the downloads, then re download the system setup. That was when i discovered my problem.
I do not want to use vuescan because i like the Nikon system.
So I am asking will someone who has the Nikon CD's make a copy of them and I will obviously pay them for their trouble.
While i am at it, is there a service tec who lubes and cleans these scanners out there anyone has used.

What they said. Nikon scan works on windows alright, but not on the newer (Intel) macs.

Silverfast 6.5 on Windows XP is probably the best scanning software there is for the 8000. It is extremely adept at finding frames on 120 film prescans (better than 8) and it is way more reliable for batch scanning than anything. Of course, with an XP box, Nikon Scan is not a bad option either.
