Nikon 9000 ED glass holder frames

Does anyone have the thin plastic (?) frame mask for the glass holder? I would need a scan of it (35mm) to cut a new one for my scanner. I have the panoramic one, and I enlarged it a bit so that it would not cut into the frame anymore, but I cut too large. Now stray light from the scanner leaves orange (in c41) streaks all over.

Has anyone the same issue with non-masked areas crating ghosting/flare/streaking on the image area? See below, you can see what I'm talking about at the top and bottom of the image.

Yes, any gaps that are of a certain dimension (or more) will nearly always cause ghosting with color negative film, in the axis of the tray movement.

It is very tricky to try cutting masks so close the film edges; I for one have learned to accept the slight crop and not always shoot for 100% capture.

If you have additional strips with your holder that you don't use, you might trim them to create a bottom mask.

Or, you could buy another masking set and trim it again. The part number is 9180 and they are about $40 USD per set, if I recall correctly.
